Shipping Terms

Yuasa Trading ships goods in accordance with internationally accepted Incoterms® 2020, with the applicable term specified in the quotation or invoice. Shipping responsibilities, costs, and risk transfer vary depending on the agreed term.

  • FOB (Free On Board): Seller manages export clearance and loading at port; buyer handles freight, insurance, and import clearance; risk transfers once goods are onboard
  • CIF (Cost, Insurance & Freight): Seller covers freight and basic insurance to destination port; buyer handles import duties and clearance
  • DAP (Delivered at Place): Seller delivers to buyer’s location; buyer is responsible for import duties and taxes
  • DDP (Delivered Duty Paid): Seller handles all shipping, customs clearance, duties, and final delivery

  • Delivery timelines depend on order quantity, destination, and shipping method (air or sea)
  • Delays due to customs, port congestion, or unforeseen circumstances are not the seller’s liability
  • Insurance is included only where specified (typically under CIF or DDP); otherwise arranged by the buyer
  • Import duties, taxes, and clearance charges are the buyer’s responsibility unless agreed otherwise
  • Standard documents provided include Commercial Invoice, Packing List, and Bill of Lading/Airway Bill
  • Any additional charges such as demurrage, storage, or re-delivery will be borne by the buyer
